Extreme Weddings: Ripley's Believe it or Not Style

Ripley's Believe It or Not! Enter If You Dare!

Ripley's Believe It or Not is known for showcasing all things wild, weird, crazy, extreme and flat out different.

Their newest Ripley's Believe it or Not book, Enter If You Dare, features the classic Ripley's material: wild people, crazy feats, and extremes of all sorts. It also features some interesting and extreme weddings that wedding lovers and trivia collectors will adore and regular people may just find to be plain weird.

Enter If You Dare mentions a sheep loving woman who made a wedding gown for herself and a waistcoat for the groom from her beloved sheep.

Not extreme enough yet? She even included the sheep in her wedding photos. Read more about this wooly wedding on page 28.

On page 29 you'll find that tens of thousands of Chinese people rushed to get married on 09/09/09 because to the Chinese the number nine is extremely good luck and they believe that marrying on this date would give them a long and happy marriage.

On page 54 you can learn about a frog wedding that took place in India to please the gods.

On page 75 read about a bear who played bestman at a wedding in Montana.
