The Everything Green Wedding Book

My book finally has a cover so everyone can see what it looks like. Since this is my first book bear with me cause it is all new and exciting to me. I think its cool seeing a book cover with my name on it.

This past week I've been working on some edits for the book, searching for a few stats and clearing things up for my editor. Not as bad as I thought it would be.

I'm starting to work on early promotion for the book, that's an interesting process. There's so much more to being a writer than most people think. It's not all ta-da look I wrote a book and now I'm a millionaire. Not even close. There's the idea, the proposal, the research, the writing, the editing, etc then hopefully the publishing then the promotion (not necessarily in that order) then you may make a little bit of money. I wonder how many really good books does it take to become a millionaire writer. Will one bestseller do it? I don't know. Hopefully one day I will.

Anyway, since I've been working on TEGWB edits and promotion, I haven't got a whole lot of other writing done. PLus it is summer, my kids are home and I've been way distracted. I have a million ideas but I can't seem to get anything down on paper. Soon...very soon...

Site in the Spotlight Card Girl Custom Invitations

Looking for more fabulous options for green wedding stationary and invitations? Card-Girl.com can help you out. She has 100% recycled, partially recycled, and completely tree free products and soy based ink printing options. How green is that?

I love these classy designs.

She has everything you need too:

engagement announcements

save the date cards

wedding invitations

ceremony programs

place cards

menu cards

thank you notes and more

Of course less is better when it comes to being green but if you absolutely must have lots of paper products as least go for green options like recycled or tree free.
